Patriotic Pops

Here is a cool way to celebrate Fourth of July, literally...Patriotic Ice Pops.  These easy to make, fun pops are delicious to eat and pretty to look at and they will be the hit at any Red Hat event!

  • Watermelon
  • Lemonade
  • Blueberries

  • Popsicle Mold
  • small star cookie cutter
  • Popsicle Sticks

Cut the watermelon about 1/2 inch thick slices. Then use the star cookie cutter to cut the stars. Take a popsicle stick and place it into the center of the bottom of the star, then place it into the popsicle form about half way into the mold. The star helps to hold the stick in straight. Slowly pour the lemonade into the container making sure it flows to the bottom of the popsicle form, then top off with the blueberries. Freeze and serve…so simple!
Make them ahead of time for you 4th of July celebration…Memorial Day and Labor Day too!
