DIY Roaring 20's headband

The Red Hat Society is getting ready for our Virtual Roaring 20's Party on Facebook!  We are getting all dolled up and and spiffy here at Hatquarters, to make sure that we are Putting on the Ritz for all of our Dapper Dames.  Nothing says Roaring 20's than that of a flapper headband, so elegant and sassy and so easy to make!

Materials
Scissors
Glue gun
Feathers (I used a combination of a feather boa and loose feathers)
Rhinestones (loose and ribbon)
Cloth headband
Felt material
Ribbon

1. Begin by cutting the felt fabric in a shape.  I choose oval, however it can also be rounded or squared.  With the glue gun, glue your rhinestones to the felt until it is completely covered.

2. Glue two pieces of  ribbon to the outside and end of the headband.  One for each side to tie headband around your head.

3. Glue the rhinestone ribbon around the top of the headband.

4. Glue the felt rhinestone piece that you first made onto the Headband.

5. On the back of the felt rhinestone piece, add glue and  feathers. to both sides,

This easy DIY project can be done with different fabrics and in different colors!
