Mini Apple Tarts

The joy of having company and entertaining is one of the many things the Red Hat ladies like to do. The holidays are the perfect time for baking and cooking some of our favorite foods and sharing a laugh with our closest friends and family.  Here is a very quick, simple, and delicious recipe that your guest will be happy to enjoy!

Crescent Rolls dough
Granny smith apple sliced or chopped
1/4 cup Butter
1 tsp Cinnamon
4 tbsp Brown sugar 
1/2 tsp Pumpkin spice (optional)

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2.Unroll the croissant roll dough.

3.  Brush or drizzle melted butter on both sides of the dough.

4. In a small bowl mix the cinnamon and brown sugar, then spread over the dough.

5.Roll an apple slice or a spoonful of chopped apples inside the croissant, be sure to start at the smallest end.

6. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture on top before placing into the oven. 

7.Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.

8.Serve warm with whip cream or ice cream
