Traveling Sisters

The Hatquarters of the Red Hat Society loves to share the many ways Hatters are playing in the Sisterhood. Here is a great story submitted by Queen Norma Gosling recounting a recent trip she took with six of her Sisters. We love these pictures!

Traveling Sisters
By Queen Norma
The Cardinal C's of Abbotsford, British Columbia

On Sept. 20th, six Red Hat Ladies - Queen Norma, Queen Jean, Queen Cilla, Mary, Dorothy and Melanie and one mascot  - Ellie May - from Abbotsford and Surrey, BC and Blaine, WA set off for a trip to New York City and a Canada/ New England Cruise. What a fabulous time we had!  We spent three very busy days in the City that never sleeps - New York - visiting all the tourist spots - The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Time Square, Central Park Carriage Ride and yes Queen Cilla and Mary went to a Yankees ball game in Yankee Stadium!

On Sept. 23rd, we boarded our ship - The Legend of the Seas - for a 10 night cruise which took us to Bar Harbor and Portland Maine; St. John, New Brunswick, Halifax, Nova Scotia and Quebec City, Quebec.  The weather was fantastic and the fall colors were spectacular.

The day in Halifax is especially memorable for me, because I was able to meet and have lunch with Queen Daisy Dwyer. We spent several hours forging a Red Hat friendship and getting to know one another. What a fantastic day!  Thank you Ladies for your support and companionship during the cruise. Hopefully, we can do this again.

All Roads Lead to Indy
Thousands of Hatters from around the world will make their way to Indianapolis for the 2015 Speedway Sparkle International Convention next August, and we want you to join us! We're going to bring the sparkle to the Racing Capital of the World, and most importantly, we are going to spend quality time with our Sisters. Visit www.RedHatSociety.com for complete convention details.
