The Royal Rubies Make History in Atlanta

RHS Ambassador Floretta, of the Royal Rubies (Georgia, United States), was the January Queen of the Month, and she has been a fireball in Atlanta. Last month, her Chapter was honored with an invitation to participate in Atlanta’s first-ever Black History Parade. Here’s what Queen Flo had to say about the event:
We looked so good! When the Vice-President of The Black Movie Network saw me and The Royal Rubies Red Hatters he said, “You look like a Queen! You need to ride on a float! He told us they cost about $1,500.00 to rent, but he found us one to ride for free. Lo and behold, it was a BEAUTIFUL RED AND WHITE FLOAT! Yes! We represented The Red Hat Society well.

Not only did the Royal Rubies enjoy the special treatment, Queen Flo was given the opportunity to speak at the event about the Red Hat Society.
Atlanta is rocking and rolling, she added.
Way to go, Queen Flo! Thank you for sharing your passion for the Sisterhood everywhere you go!
