A Tea-light-ful Holiday Craft

It's officially holiday season and Hatters have been working away in their Red and Pink Hat workhops (aka home) to come up with some fabulous holiday crafts. This week's project was shared by Lori of the Scarlett Butterflies Chapter (Texas, United States), and it's called the Tea Light Snowman Ornament. Lori posted her version in the Red Hat Crafts and Hats Group on Facebook, and of course, she put her own Red Hat Spin on it.

What you need:
Battery powered tea lights
A snowflake ornament
Embellishments i.e. pipe cleaner, felt, ribbon and bling
Paint - pink, black and white
Hot Glue
How to assemble:
- Glue your tea light to an ornament (Leave space for the on and off switch)
- Paint her eyes, cheeks and mouth (you could also use wiggle eyes from the craft store)
- Create a little hat for her with the felt, embellish it however you would like and attach it with the hot glue
- Twist your pipe cleaners together to create her scarf and glue around the tea light
How simple and cute is that?! We love this idea as a gift, a Chapter craft or a placeholder at your upcoming holiday parties. Thank you for sharing Lori!
What kind of holiday crafts are you working on?
