Think Pink!

Host a Pink Party

Did you know the Red Hat Society is for women of all ages? We are a Sisterhood of women who come from all walks of life and share the common desire to celebrate each day through fun and friendship. Our Members age 50 and above wear the traditional red hat and purple regalia, while our Members who have not yet reached their magical 50th birthday wear pink hats and lavender regalia. 

The month of October is dedicated to the wonderful Pink Hatters in the Sisterhood, and we are encouraging Hatters everywhere to Think Pink! One fun way to do this is to host a Pink Party. 

Whether you are a Pink Hat Queen, you have Pink Hatters in your Chapter, or if there are Pinkie-aged women you would like to introduce to the Sisterhood, this is a fun way to get go pink. Below are some ideas shared by Hatters to help you prepare for your Pink Party:

Decorations you could use:                    Food Ideas:
Pink streamers                                           Cupcakes and sugar cookies with pink frosting
Pink plates                                                 Cream Cheese (with red food color) and cucumber sandwiches
Pink or white napkins                                 Pink lemonade or Strawberry milk
Pink or white forks                                     Fruit Cocktail mixed with Cool Whip (with red food color)
Lavender colored ribbon                            Watermelon, Strawberries and Pink grapefruit
Pink tablecloths                                          Smoked salmon sandwiches
Pink straws                                                 Pink mashed potatoes (with red food color)
Pink balloons                                              Salad with a Raspberry vinaigrette
Pink Printable Photo Props                         Strawberry Jell-o salad

Looking for a fun activity? Try painting pumpkins! Not only is it a perfect activity for the season, but it’s a fun, inexpensive, and it’s something the women can display long after the party had ended.
