If you're not familiar with a Quinceanera, it's a popular celebration in Latin America, which takes place on a young woman's 15th Birthday. The attendees dressed in formal gowns in various hues of purple and lavender, and they donned crowns with red and pink jewels to complete their regalia.
Queen Jean commented, "Red Hat Sisters from all over Texas along with a few from out of state danced, sang, won door prizes, raffles and received a beautiful Quinceanera pin. Thanks to Queen Olga 'Mike' Spotswood and her group of volunteers who put in lots of long hours. A lovely meal was served and lots fun loving Sisters enjoyed the afternoon full of laughter, celebration and Red Sparkles!"
