Hatters Go Red For Heart Health

The Red Hat Society is all about heart. As one of the largest women's social organizations in the world, we are committed to supporting the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of heart disease in women. For several years, we have encouraged women to know the facts about heart disease and take preventative measures to ensure that they can lead a life filled with fun, friendship, freedom, fulfillment and fitness.

This past Friday, Hatters around the world donned head-to-toe red regalia for National Wear Red Day and went out to play! We asked them to share photos on our Facebook Page, and they happily obliged. Above is a collage of some of the photos we received.

The entire month of February is dedicated to heart-health, and we hope that you will join us in empowering women with the knowledge necessary to prevent or reduce their risk for heart disease. If you would like to learn more information about Go Red For Women, please click here

Heart Health Tip:
Know your numbers. You owe it to yourself to take an active role in your own health. Find out your blood pressure, cholesterol and weight and discuss those numbers with your doctor. With his or her help, you can monitor any changes and make informed decisions about your health.

A Heart-Healthy Gift
Throughout the month of February, Hatquarters of the Red Hat Society transforms into Heartquarters, and we encourage women to put their hearts first in both health and happiness. Hatters are empowered to lead lives filled with fun, friendship, freedom, fulfillment and fitness every day. If you know someone who could use a good girlfriend or reason to play, we encourage you to give her the Gift of Membership to the Red Hat Society. We hope you will join us in spreading the red this month! Click here to learn how you can give the Gift of Membership today.
