She's A Star!

Happy International Women's Day! Did you know that the Red Hat Society has Chapters in more than 30 different countries? It is currently one of the largest Women's Social Organization in the world and it's growing every day with women from all walks of life. One of the great things about being a part of the Hatquarters of the Red Hat Society is the ability to meet and interact with Hatters on a daily basis, because these women are truly incredible.

One Hatter who regularly visits Hatquarters is Diana, aka Queen of Quite A Lot, of the Purple, Red and Ravishing Chapter (California, United States). Diana has taken her Chapter on tours of Hatquarters, and she even takes time out of her schedule to volunteer here. This past weekend she hosted her first Meet and Greet to inspire women in her area to join the Red Hat Society, and she is always one of the first people to respond to women who have questions about the Sisterhood on the Red Hat Society's Facebook Page.

What inspired Diana to join the Red Hat Society?

Well, California is a big state and when Diana moved from one part of California to another, it left her without nearby family or a single friend. Diana set out to remedy that by doing an online search for an interesting women’s organization to join.  The Red Hat Society popped up, and it looked fun and well… delightfully different.  She joined the Society, found a chapter to join and started making friends.  Eventually this led to she and a friend starting their own local chapter, the Purple, Red and Ravishing and a Queen was born.
Queen Diana is now a RHS Ambassador and helps other women start Chapters and make lots of friends.

It's women like Diana who make the Society the incredible women's organization that it is. She is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the Sisterhood, and she takes pride in her Queenship and her role as an Ambassador.

Thank you Diana for all of the work that you do for the Red Hat Society!

If you know of a Hatter who deserves a moment in the spotlight, please email with information about the woman and some pictures. Please title your email: She's Famous.
