A Fabulous DIY Flower Headband

We Hatters love a great project! This super fun and cute Flower Headband is sure to be a great Chapter Activity! Can you believe this fabulous hat was crafted with a few colorful napkins? Here's how you can make your own fabulous headband!

What you need:
-Napkins in your desired colors. You will need two packs: 13 in. x 13 in. for the body of the flower, and 9 7/8 in. x 9 7/8 in. for the top color accent.
-Scissors
-String that matches your color scheme.
-Ribbon for your headband

How to assemble:
Step 1: Unfold four of the larger napkins
Step 2: Stack the napkins on top of each other
Step 3: Lay one smaller napkin on top of the stack
Step 4: Start on one side and fold like an accordion about an inch thick
Step 5&6: Fold until the stack resembles a closed hand fan
Step 7: Tie the stack in the middle with your string to hold it together
Step 8: Spread the napkin on either side of the tied center
Step 9: Gather your smaller accent napkin on one side and cut along the edge to create a curved edge (As pictured in #10). Repeat on the other side.
Step 10: Gather the large napkin on one side and cut along the edge to create a curved edge (As pictured in  # 13)
Step 11: Spread and fluff your accent napkin as you would like it to look on your headband.
Step 12: Spread and fluff the larger napkin as you would like it to look on your headband
Step 13: String the ribbon through the tied center of your headband and arrange your napkin flower wherever you would like it to sit on your head.
