A Unique Celebration

The Scarlet O'Hatters (Alberta, Canada) have a unique way of celebrating their RHS Anniversary. Queen (and RHS Ambassador!) Carol writes, “The chapter’s official charter date is Dec. 29th and no one seems to want to do anything special at that time of year. Therefore, we plan a different celebration on the half year -- this is it is 5 1/2 years since the start of the chapter. I organized a dinner at the Mongolie Grill and got little treats ready for the whole chapter to be silly.  There were big red and purple ties, lovely teeth and blinking noses. The whole restaurant chuckled when they walked past our table.  Even the chefs from the back came over to see what we were all laughing about.  If you can't be silly in red and purple you might as well not wear it at all!” We couldn’t agree more, Carol!

Remember, you can read more stories on the weekly Friday Broadcast! Each Broadcast features exclusive stories from Hatters around the world, and only Supporting Members have access to all of them! A Video For Women Everywhere
Have you seen and shared the “We Are Women” video yet? This special film was made for women, by women! Our goal was to spread the word about women’s special gifts, and inspire women everywhere! Please accept this video as our gift to you...and one we sincerely request that you will share with all the special women in your life. Sharing is simple and can be done by clicking the "share" button at the bottom of the video. Our Society grew through word of mouth—and what a resounding voice we have! Because of our Legacy, we believe it is important to reignite that word of mouth through today's medium— the internet.
