Hatters at Oktoberfest

What better way to celebrate the start of Fall than by attending an Oktoberfest?

Queen Diana of the Purple, Red and Ravishing chapter (California, United States), writes, “Chapterette Maggie planned the day for us in Huntington Beach on Sunday, September 18th.  We had lunch at the Old World Restaurant and then took in the Dachshund Races, which were family pets just running, playing and having fun. The dogs were so cute with such playful spirits, kind of like us. While watching the ‘races’ some of the ladies indulged in such decadent treats as chocolate fudge cake, white chocolate cake and a favorite treat, funnel cake.

The weather was beautiful and all the ladies were in high spirits dressed in their Red and Pink Hats and their purple and lavender outfits. The bonds of Sisterhood were never stronger as we laughed, played and shared the day.” Here’s hoping the rest of the season is just as special!

The Clock Is Ticking!

There are only a few days left to sign up for the London trip! Registration closes after September 30, but there’s still time to join the fun! Not only will you get the once-in-a-lifetime chance to march in the world-televised London New Year’s Day Parade, but you will get to tour one of the most beautiful countries in the world with your fellow Red Hat Society sisters! But that’s not all: your friends and family can come on the trip, too! In fact, the London trip is the only RHS event that’s open to friends and family of Hatters, so take advantage of this opportunity!
